– Chicago Tribune

“This one is an easy call. Republican Rep. Tom Morrison of Palatine is a common-sense fiscal conservative who is willing to work across the aisle to get things done. He split with his party several times in voting for legislation to help felons get back on their feet. He has the audacity to question the need for an Illinois Arts Council, a state agency viewed as untouchable because it’s overseen by Shirley Madigan, wife of you-know-who. Democrat Laddi Singh of Rolling Meadows isn’t running a serious campaign. The House could use more Tom Morrisons. He is endorsed.”

“His most far-reaching piece of legislation is a bill calling for the transition of public pensions to 401(k) investments that is not likely to go anywhere so long as Democrats control the legislature, but it anticipates and advances the debate over one of the state’s most pressing issues, and it demonstrates a candidate who is actively trying to solve problems. More important than his proposal, though, is Morrison’s willingness to discuss it and other proposed solutions without either taking offense from or offending those who bitterly reject the idea. He is, in short, a hardworking legislator who is willing to listen and to cooperate to get things accomplished.”

– Coach Mike Ditka

“He’s a good guy. He understands what’s important: balancing the budget, getting people back to work, running the economy the way it should be run. Vote for him!”

– Family-PAC

“Tom Morrison lights up when he talks about his ideas for improving outcomes and opportunities for children across the state.
